Many
people go through life not realizing that God is very much real and that
He is our heavenly Father Who cares for each and every one of us personally.
The Holy Bible is the true Word of God and has been kept true to its
original writings. What we must do is to study it and learn who God
is, how He operates and how we can receive the many blessings that
He has in mind for us.
Proverbs 3:5-6 - Trust in
the LORD with all your heart And do not lean on your own understanding.
In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He will make your paths straight.
God always was and always will be
"the Alpha and the Omega," "The beginning and the End." God consists of
three persons - God the Father, God the Son, God the Holy Spirit. These
three make up the God Head. To attempt to simplify this means "God the
Father is the Creator of all that is, God the Son is the Savior of the
world, God the Holy Spirit is the Helper." The Holy Spirit lives in our
hearts to give us Peace, Strength beyond our own ability, Wisdom when we
ask for it, and Hope that we can always look forward to.
To receive what God can do for you
and in your life you must first above all things become a Child of God.
Jesus Himself is here quoted: (John 14:5-6)
"Thomas said to Him, 'Lord, we do not know where You are going, how do we
know the way?' Jesus said to him, 'I am the
way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father but through
Me.'"
Many do not understand the fact that
God sacrificed His one and only Begotten Son that He must shed His blood
and die for all to be forgiven, that if anyone would confess their sins
and accept Jesus Christ as their Savior and Lord they would then be saved
and have eternal life. This makes that person a Child of God and
institutes the beginning of a relationship with the Almighty God. Without
this confession and the
acceptance of Jesus Christ as your Savior there is no other way of
receiving eternal life in Heaven.
Many believe that good works alone or
being a good, honest person will get you to heaven. My friend, it will
not. The Bible says that nobody is good enough to get into heaven. Each
one of us has broken God's commandments - not one person is accepted.
The Bible tells us in Romans 3:23 - "For
all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God."
Isaiah 64:6a
says, "For all of us have become like one who is unclean, and all our
righteous deeds are like a filthy garment."
In the sight of men, our good deeds
may look pretty good, but when compared to God's standard of perfection,
our righteous deeds are like filthy rags because they are corrupt morally
with sinful and selfish motives.
Ephesians
2:8-9, "For by grace you have been saved through faith; and that not of
yourselves, it is the gift of God; not as a result of works, so that no
one may boast."
Does this all mean that as a
Christian that we are not to do good works? Not at all, we are always to
love one another and be kind as this is just one of God's attributes that
we are to follow and you don't have to become a religious fanatic to
become what God wants you to become, because if you know God and pray to
Him, you will come to know what His desires are for you.
The Bible teaches in
John 3:16-17, "For God so loved the world, that
He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not
perish, but have eternal life. For God did not send the Son into the
world to judge the world, but that the world might be saved through Him."
Jesus is our one and only way to
heaven and I encourage you to read this carefully and study it because
there is a real Heaven and a real Hell. We all will spend eternity in one
of the two forever, which one do you prefer? This will be the most
important decision that you will ever make simply because everyone will
someday experience the time that we will meet Jesus face-to-face and will
have to give an account of our lives. When we reach that final point
there is no return or any way
that we can make any different decision, then it will be too late.
Tell to all the Gospel, "The Good
News." This is what Jesus said in Matthew
28:18-20, "Then Jesus came to
them and said, 'All authority in heaven and on earth
has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations,
baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy
Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And
surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age."
If you, or if you know someone who,
needs to read this message - I heartedly encourage you to make it
available to that special person. This will help him/her to make a
decision to accept Jesus Christ now. You see, the Bible tells us that God
has the days numbered for each one of us.
Only God knows the number of our
days, something we cannot know and cannot predict. The Psalmist says when
speaking to God in Psalm 139:16 - "Your
eyes have seen my unformed substance; And in Your book were all written
The days that were ordained for me, When as yet there was not one of
them."
God knew before we were born the days
we have here in this life. Don't Wait to submit yourself to God. Do it
now!
I hope your decision will be to
accept Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Savior. You can do this by
praying this simple prayer.
Dear Heavenly
Father I know I am a sinner and I do accept Your Son Jesus Christ as my
Lord and Savior and that You gave Him up for me, so I ask at this time for
Your forgiveness of my sins. Please come into my heart and give me the
strength of the Precious Holy Spirit to live for You.
Amen
